What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is Australia’s way of funding supports for people living with permanent and significant disability, so you can pursue your goals and live more independently.
Who is eligible for the NDIS?
Generally you are aged under 65 when you first apply, live in Australia as a citizen or permanent/eligible-visa holder, and have a permanent and significant disability. Early intervention supports may also be available.
What is an NDIS plan?
Your plan is a personalised funding agreement that sets out your goals and the supports the NDIS will fund — such as daily living support, therapy or community access.
What is Support Coordination?
Support Coordination helps you understand and use your plan — connecting you with the right providers, organising supports and making your funding work as hard as it can for you.

Can I change to Spinel Care from another provider?
Yes. You can choose and change providers at any time. Our team makes moving your supports to Spinel Care simple and stress-free — just get in touch.
How do I make a referral?
You can complete our Client Referral form online in minutes, or contact our Melbourne-based team and we’ll guide you through it.
How quickly can supports start?
Once we’ve confirmed your details and plan, supports can often begin quickly. We’ll always be upfront about timeframes and keep you informed.
